Caldwell cheer team returns home as 2nd place national champions
The Caldwell High School Cheer Show Team returned from Las Vegas as 2nd place national champions at the JAMZ Cheer & Dance Nationals. The “home grown” team, developed entirely within the Caldwell program, competed against top squads from across the country. Their next performance will be at the IDHSAA State Cheer competition on Feb. 28.

CALDWELL, Idaho — The Caldwell High School Cheer Show Team is returning home after earning second place at the JAMZ Cheer & Dance Nationals in Las Vegas.
The team competed against top programs from across the country, delivering a high-energy routine that included precise choreography, synchronized dance, and advanced stunts. The national runner-up finish was announced on the team’s Facebook page, which celebrated the achievement:
“Caldwell is coming home as a 2nd place national champion! Beyond proud of our home grown team… We are Caldwell and proud of it!”
The term “home grown team” highlights that the athletes developed their skills locally and rose through the Caldwell program to compete on a national stage.
