Coming straight from Oak Street Beach in Chicago, Illinois, the AVP Women’s Semifinal 2 delivered three intense sets between the Austin Aces (Brasher/Nuss) and the Brooklyn Blaze (Denaburg/Donlin).
The Aces came out strong, taking the first set 15–12, showing sharp defense and crisp execution. But the Blaze stormed back in the second, edging out a thrilling 20–18 win to even the match.
With the momentum on their side, Denaburg and Donlin closed the door in the decisive third set, sealing the match with a 15–9 victory.
This 2–1 win sends the Brooklyn Blaze to the Women’s Championship, where they’ll compete later today at 1 PM CST, live on CBS.
